I am a regular swimmer and sometimes participant in Masters and Senior Olympic competitions.
Here are a few highlights I remember:
April 11, 2015 Induction into the Chaminade Sports Hall of Fame for Swimming.
[I formed the first Chaminade Swim Team in 1956, coached it and swam in it.
    In the Missouri State High School Swim meets:
            In 1957 I placed 3rd in 100 yd back and 2nd in 150 Ind. Medley. Also, though I was the only swim competitor, Chaminade tied for 10th place in State that year.
            In 1958 I placed 1st in 50 yd free and 1st in 150 Ind. Medley. Also, though I was the only swim competitor, Chaminade tied for 9th place in State that year.]
On September 12, 2010 I participated in the Silver Games at Franklin County Four Rivers YMCA.

On September 8, 2019 I participated in the Silver Games at Franklin County Four Rivers YMCA. I won 3 Gold Medals: 50 Free, 50 Fly, 100 Medley.

included all age categories, 55 and up.)

On  April 2, 2023 I participated in the Masters Swim Meet at Franklin County Four Rivers YMCA. I was the only competitor in their 80s and won 4 Gold Medals:100 Medley,  25 Free, 25 Back, and 25 Fly. Click here to see more.
